MY 10-STEP TRANSFORMATION PROCESS.
Over the past 30 years, I have developed a proprietary 10-step process that I use when I begin engagements with organizations to develop their organization culture and workforce vitality. Here are those steps in the engagement “discovery” process:
  1. Administer an organization culture survey.
  2. Design their organization snapshot. Think “org chart” but with each individual’s influence, background, personality, abilities, training, education all identified.
  3. Individual skills mapping – match employee roles in their current job to their unused skills/potential. That’s the eROI gap or delta between what they are contributing and what their potential is.
  4. Employee ROI audit. What’s the return on your total people investment strategy. Outcome of #3.
  5. Projects, initiatives, plans that will require new skills, training, experience. Forms your future Talent Acquisition/Development strategy.
  6. Coaching , mentoring, sponsorship program development.
  7. Employee idea generation program creation.
  8. Employee satisfaction survey.
  9. Audit your entire people HR flow process (from Hire to Retire).
  10. Make culture transformation and people development recommendations – shift control from Management to people for a culture of autonomy.
